2019 DANISH FRIENDLY GAMES BOCCIA

WELCOME
NPC Denmark kindly invites all federations and clubs to take part in the 2019 Danish
Friendly Games Boccia, April 12.-14. 2019. The Organizing Committee will make all
possible efforts to welcome the players and staff of your federation/club in the best
possible way.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dates & General Information
The event is an individual tournament and the competition is open for players in classes
B1, B2, B3, B4 and B5.
The event will be held according to BISFed International Boccia Rules.
Preliminary January 10. 2019
Entry close: February 1. 2019
Deadline for finale payment: February 1. 2019
Official arrival: April 12. 2019

Venue Overview
Friendly Games Boccia 2019 is held in the best accommodation and training locations for
people with disability in Denmark, close to the sea and 100 km west of Copenhagen.

Traveling to Copenhagen
Copenhagen has a well-established infrastructure and you can reach Copenhagen Airport
from all over the world. From the northern part of Europe, you can easily reach
Copenhagen central train station as well. If you are travelling by car, the place is
situated close to The Storebaelt bridge.
Visas
It is the responsibility of each nation or club to ensure that they have the proper
documentation to enter Denmark. Should visa be required we will need a letter from
your NPC to provide you with a letter of support. Please contact Mr. Bent Gaarsted –

Pickup at Copenhagen airport or Copenhagen Central Station is possible – please contact

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation and entry fees:
We offer a competition package including the following:
- Competition fee
- 2 nights of accommodation in double rooms
- 6 meals from Friday evening till lunch Sunday
- Training in the competition pool
- Awards
Deadline for final payment: February 1. 2019
Cancellation policy: For all packages a 40 % refund will be given until the 1. of March
2019. After this date no refund will be given.

290 € per person in a double room
Extra days/nights incl. breakfast: 85 € per night/person
Package 2:

Double room package staff
250 € per person in a single room
Extra days/nights incl. breakfast: 85 € per night/person
Package 3:

Single room package athlete
390 € per person in a single room
Extra days/nights incl. breakfast: 135 € per night/person
Package 4:

Single room package staff
390 € per person in a single room
Extra days/nights incl. breakfast: 135 € per night/person
Competition Fee
If you choose not to use the above packages the competition fee is 60 € for athletes and
40 € for staff.

TOURNEMANET FORMAT AND SCHEDULE
Tournament:
The tournament is divided in to 3 groups: BC1/BC2, BC3 and BC4/BC5
1. The BC1/BC2 group, is a double tournament where the players meet each other
two times.
2. The BC3 group is divided in to 4 pools, where the players meet each other.
3. The BC4/BC5 group, is a double tournament where the players meet each other
two times.

INSURANCE
Each team must ensure that all members of their delegation are appropriately insured,
including coverage for travel, liability, accidents and repatriation. All delegation members
must have appropriate accident and health insurance accepted in order to compete. The
LOC will provide only basic medical services in the venue.
No medical insurance will be provided to any of the participants. All participants are
responsible for obtaining their own medical insurance (including Repatriation Coverage)
and will be responsible for any medical expenses resulting from participation in the
event.
